đ The Future of FHE is being built right now.
This quarter has been exceptionally busy for FHE, highlighted by numerous conferences, talks, and papers, along with support and praise from renowned cryptographers who recognize the immense potential and varied use cases of FHE.
We were honored to have Craig Gentry, the creator of the groundbreaking first functional FHE implementation, join us for a meetup and Q&A session. The event lasted over two hours, featuring thought-provoking discussions and offering a glimpse into the future of FHE.
Additionally, we had the privilege of hearing from Whitfield Diffie, one of the pioneers of public-key cryptography. He lauded FHE, stating he believes it to be "the greatest gem since - at least, the invention of RSA."
Interest in FHE within the blockchain space continues to surge, with numerous entities now seeking to integrate FHE into the core functionalities of their infrastructure. This shift marks the transition of FHE from a "theoretical" concept to a "practical" and "applied" technology in the public eye.
Moreover, our community continues to grow, both in size and creativity. New members are joining, and existing members are stepping up to lead collaborative initiatives, strengthening our community from within.
Weâre poised for an amazing summer for the entire FHE community!
â±ïž Summer Meetup lineup.
Register for the next meetup FHE Beyond IND-CCA1 Security, with JérÎme Nguyen, a PhD student at the UniversitÀt der Bundeswehr in Munich. Meetup is in 2 weeks, on July 11th, 2024 at 5PM CEST.
